Susanville Pops Concert: June 13th, 14th & 15th

Ending the season with a bang, the symphony will again finish off the year with the pops concert. Last year the audience was delighted with the various costumes the percussion section and conductor donned during the performance. Who knows what surprises will be in store for everyone this year! From the Indiana Jones and Superman Marches, to the Piano Theme from Schindler's list, this will be a powerful concert with a flair for the dramatic. Musicians and audience alike will have a blast at this most "popular" pops concert!
Christmas in Susanville: December 14th, 15th & 16th

The ever popular Christmas concert will feature an encore performance of St. Andrews Academy Choir. They will be performing two original Benjamin Wade adaptations of the Coventry Carol and the Huron Carol. In addition to this 20+ choir joining the Susanville Symphony, our beloved orchestra will perform the John Williams Suite Home Alone, Swan Lake, and many other favorite Christmas classics.
A Romantic Evening: February 15th, 16th & 17th

In conjunction with the week of Valentine's Day, the Susanville Symphony will pull out all the stops to perform some of the most romantic classical music ever composed. From Bach's Air on a G string to the Theme from Somewhere in Time, the audience will be touched by each and every piece. There will also be two soloists flown in to add additional excitement to the evening. Heather Leri, a professional Soprano from Santa Barbara will be singing two Arias (from Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and Dvorak's Song to the Moon from Rusalka) as well as famous Russian Pianist Irina Fedenko playing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto #1. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS CONCERT!
The American Composer: May 2nd, 3rd & 4th

This exciting spring concert will feature American Composers with a flair and vision for the great frontier. William's Cowboy Overture, Strommen's Cross Creek, Copeland's Rodeo are just a few of the dynamic pieces the Susanville Symphony will be performing. We will be affectionately nicknaming this night the Cowboy Concert, and it is truly an evening for the City of Susanville.
