The Susanville Choral Society is up and running – rehearsing new music, recruiting singers, and otherwise having great fun making music!

I think our patrons and musicians are really going to enjoy the concert experiences we’re putting together for what will be our sixth season. Full-spectrum concerts will be the central themes for both the Fall and Spring performances, with the selection of music spanning centuries of composers leading right up to modern times.

We have been able to keep the Susanville United Methodist Church as our performance venue, with its wonderful acoustics, concert grand piano, and now, the addition of a new pipe organ. The perfect location for choral concerts, the church also provides a sense of intimacy between patrons and musicians due to the size and design of the facility.

Joining up with the Susanville Choral Society is a great way to get involved in the local music community. With program opportunities that will challenge the veteran singer as well as provide support and guidance to the first time, choral singer. The only way you’ll know if choral singing is for you is to sit in with us and give it a try. We promise a fun, rewarding experience, and an opportunity to challenge your mind. Please join us!

For questions about singing opportunities, concerts, or anything choral, feel free to call us at 530-251-6738, or write to us at, or visit and like us on Facebook in our group Susanville Choral Society.

See you at the concert!
