COMPOSITION COMPETITION

Winners Susanville Symphony 2013 For immediate release:

The Susanville Symphony is proud to announce the winners for their composition competition 2012-2013.  We had many outstanding composers submit their works to us from around the world: Croatia, Japan, Brazil, Italy and man more. The committee met and deliberated for days and hours discovering "new" composers and selecting our finalists.

The Susanville Symphony Society is dedicated to featuring new and existing composers that are writing in this day and age. The April 2013 theme is The Modern Composer further supporting this idea. We will be holding additional compositions in the future and we want to thank all of our composers for submitting their works. I know as a writer of classical music that to do so gives the listener a part of your soul and for that we are forever grateful.
